The invention relates to the solar-energy engineering, in particular to the aerodynamic sun power plants, and is destined for solar-to-electric power conversion.The aerodynamic sun power plant includes a tubular traction tower, around the base of which there is placed a transparent coating, under which into the wall of the tower there are made air-intake ports. Novelty of the invention consists in that the tower wall is made of dielectric material and its upper extremity is made of current-conducting material and connected through the load to the earth. In the tower upper extremity region there is placed a central corona discharging electrode, connected to the high-voltage source.
