<p>The invention relates to a device attachable to motor vehicles, to generate the pulses required for the operation of antilock brake systems in special situations, allowing the mounting of ABS systems corresponding to the technical specifications to a wider range of motor vehicles. The claimed device consists of an annular toothed disk whose inner diameter (a) is so calculated that the disk is mounted by compression onto the mobile wheel drum. The disk is made of metal, it has milled toothing and a number x of profiles with the width (b) and the height (h). The size (c) of the gap between the profiles is also constant and equal to b+2 mm. In this embodiment, the magnetic sensor is positioned in the vertical plane, on a support rigidly fixed on the seat. In another embodiment, the magnetic sensor is placed in the horizontal plane, rigidly fixed on the seat.</p> |
