<p>A device for vacuum cleaning of dust in a vehicle enables cleaning at any time, during a drive also, and is stored when inactive on such a place that it does not reduce the room for passengers in the vehicle. The device according to the invention is constructed from a vacuum suction assembly (1), comprising a compressor (2) with drive (3) and a separator (4) with filter (5), as well as from a distribution pipe (6), flexible hose (7) and suction nozzle (8). The compressor (2) with drive (3) can be located - with regard to the vehicle compartment design - on any place within the engine bay or in the area behind the dashboard or in the luggage compartment. The separator (4) with filter (5) is mounted preferably close to the compressor (2) in such a manner that access for servicing the filter (5) is assured and that the distribution pipe (6) leaving the filter (5) is passing vehicle's hollow parts, preferably a sill (13) or close to the interior or exterior surface of the passenger cabin or luggage compartment, e.g. through a tunnel area. On the free end of the pipe, an axially movable flexible hose (7) is mounted and with its nozzle (8), located at the free end of the hose, sealingly bearing-supported in an entrance sleeve (16) and placed into a bed (12) which may be fitted with a control (19) for switching on/off the device.</p> |
