摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for titration are provided, which perform the titration accurately at a high speed with a low cost. And a method for determining the end point of the titration is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The titration apparatus is a microfluidic titration chip(10) containing a first orifice as a fluid sample inlet port(16), a plurality of microfluidic channels(32) connected to the sample inlet port(16), and a plurality of titration chamber(22) connected to the microfluidic channels(32) and air management ports, wherein each titration chamber(22) comprises a titration agent and a concentration of the titration agent in one titration chamber(22) is different from concentrations of the titration agent in other chambers(22). The titration method comprises the steps of: providing the microfluidic titration chip(10); injecting a fluid into the inlet port(16); making the fluid flow through the microfluidic channels(32) from the inlet port(16) by capillarity and filling the titration chambers(22) with the fluid; reacting the fluid with the titration agent in the titration chambers(22); distinguishing the titration chamber(22) having a colorimetric change from the titration chamber(22) not having the colorimetric change. And the end point of the titration is determined by distinguishing the titration chamber(22) having the colorimetric change from the titration chamber(22) not having the colorimetric change.
