<p>The invention relates to a panflute meant for the performance both of musical works composed for the standard register of the panflute and of musical works composed for the register with two or more sounds. According to the invention, the panflute comprises a standard panflute (A) and a device for widening the ambitus (B) which, in its turn, consists of a box (1), a series of two or more tubes (2) emitting sounds in a diatonic scale continuing the scale of the standard panflute in a lower register, and a casing (3) for bearing the standard panflute (A), the box (1) having inside a space wherein the supplementary tubes (2) are mounted and the bearing casing (3) and an area wherein the standard panflute (A) is slidingly inserted and fixed, said area being provided, at its bottom, with two rigid slides (c), between which the tube support of the standard panflute slides, some foils (6) made up of leather or other material are located onto the inner walls (5) of the box (1) there being achieved the guiding of the standard panflute (A) during the sliding and a slight elastic compression which is necessary for positioning and maintaining the standard panflute (A) in a stable assembly with a device for extending the ambitus (B).</p> |
