[Also in Division F2] A fluid resistance incorporated in a valve (See Group F2) feeding a closed circuit breathing apparatus, comprises a tube 2 wound around a bobbin 3 and communicating at 5 with chambers 6 provided with porous filter plugs 7 of sintered bronze or ceramic. The tube is between one and twenty feet in length and between 0À002 and 0À015 inches in diameter, and is either incapsulated in synthetic plastic 4 or soldered into a metal can. |
