FIELD: electric circuit switching devices for various switches and circuit breakers, including those for transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for closing, opening, and switching-over electric circuits operates as follows: its working cycle is started with pushing rod 4 which sets in motion holder 5 and spring-loaded contact strip 6 disposed above the latter. Engagement between contact strip 6 and fixed contact 3 during initial moment brings them in point contact. Further displacement of holder 5 makes contact strip 6 change its inclination angle relative to horizontal end of fixed contact 3 until it is brought in contact with the latter. In the process contact strip 6 moves relative to fixed contact 3 due to bevel 7 on holder 5 with the result that both rubbing surfaces are wiped. Disconnection of device causes reverse displacement of contact strip 6 relative to fixed contact 3, further change in its inclination angle, and disengagement from fixed contact 3. ^ EFFECT: provision for wiping contact surfaces. ^ 1 cl, 4 dwg |
