A flow tube (10) is connected to a pipe through the inlet and outlet tube sections and is displaced laterally from its static rest position, based on transverse impulse output from the transducers (30') arranged on either sides of the tube. The cantilevers are fitted to the inlet and outlet tube sections, for deforming the tube sections elastically.
