FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed high-pressure pump with two-position valve to deliver fuel into internal combustion engine contains housing including at least fuel compression chamber and drive chamber with drive members of pump in which valve is provided with gate sliding inside channel in housing to close fuel feed pipe. Fuel feed pipe is formed in housing between channel and compression chamber. Gate is held closed by compression spring. Spring thrust either directly or indirectly against shoulder inside channel. Said shoulder is made integral with housing. ^ EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated assembling of high-pressure pump, reduced cost of pump. ^ 15 cl, 5 dwg
