The plasma generator (1) has the following characteristics: (a) it incorporates a high voltage device (10) connected to a first electrode (11) and to a second electrode (12); (b) it incorporates a pressure generator (20) to pressurize a combustible conductor liquid (40) with a resistivity preferably less than 800 k |mm2>/m; (c) the pressure generator is connected to an injection tuyere (30) producing a closed jet of liquid (41); (d) the electrodes are arranged with respect to the jet of liquid so that the jet of liquid forms a contact bridge during the ignition by plasma.
