The spatula consists of a long handle (3) e.g. in two sliding sections to reduce its length when not in use, and a slightly curved hand (2) on one end. The hand is made from e.g. rubber, has fingers (1) joined by e.g. webs, and a series of non-slip rounded projections (6) on the palm side to hold the substance being applied. The other end of the handle has a hole (4) for hanging it up.
