PURPOSE: A structure for a connection portion of a door in a kimchi refrigerator is provided to install the hinge assembly easily by stably fastening the upper hinge containing part of the door in the placing part formed in the upper part of the body through the surface contact. CONSTITUTION: A kimchi refrigerator is composed of a body(10) having a storage chamber, a lower cylindrical hinge containing part(12) and a placing part(13), and a door(20) arranged in the upper part of the body and composed of an upper cylindrical hinge containing part(22) placed corresponding to the lower hinge containing part to open and close the storage chamber by turning. The upper hinge containing part of the door is seated on the placing part of the body, and the kimchi refrigerator is installed by fitting the hinge assembly in engaging the lower hinge containing part with the upper hinge containing part. The upper hinge containing part of the door is contacted and seated on the placing part of the body by forming the round curved surface of the contact portion of the placing part.
