PURPOSE: A linear actuator using a hollow shaft motor is provided to reduce the number of parts of the linear actuator by rotating and driving the screw into the motor with the compact and simple structure, and to make the best use of space by decreasing the entire length. CONSTITUTION: A linear actuator comprises a hollow shaft motor(110) receiving the control signal and converting electric energy into rotation energy, an actuator housing(120) at which the hollow shaft motor is installed, a screw(130) penetrating the hollow of the hollow shaft motor and the actuator housing, a nut flange(142) fixed in the end of a shaft of the hollow shaft motor outputting rotation energy, a nut(144) fastened to the nut flange and installed in the outer periphery of the screw, a nut holder(146) mounted in the outer periphery of the nut to support the nut, and a bearing(150) placed between the outer periphery of the nut holder and the inner periphery of the actuator housing to rotate and support the nut and the nut holder in the actuator housing.
