METHOD FOR HARDENING SEALANT USED FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY TO PREVENT SEALANT FROM BEING DAMAGED

PURPOSE: A method of hardening a sealant used for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent the sealant from being damaged and easily harden the sealant disposed under a light-shielding layer even when the sealant is printed beneath the light-shielding layer in order to maximize a margin of a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A UV-hardened sealant(140a) is printed on the marginal portion of a transparent substrate(110), and a thermal hardened sealant(140b) is printed on the regions surrounding inner cells(120). The substrate and another transparent substrate are assembled. The UV-hardened sealant is hardened first, and then the thermal hardened sealant is hardened. The thermal hardened sealant is disposed under a light-shielding layer formed on the transparent substrate.
