摘要 PURPOSE: A hybrid membrane-electrode assembly and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the interfacial resistance, to improve the utilization efficiency of a catalyst and to increase the productivity. CONSTITUTION: The hybrid membrane-electrode assembly includes an electrode constituted of an anode comprising a diffusion layer(1) and an active layer(2) containing catalytic materials, and a cathode containing a diffusion layer(7) and an active layer(6) containing catalytic materials; and an electrolytic membrane(4) which is interposed between the anode and the cathode, and one or both faces of which are coated with an active layer(5) containing catalytic materials. The assembly is manufactured by the method comprising the first step of forming a catalytic materials-containing active layer on a electrolytic membrane; the second step of forming a catalytic materials-containing active layer on an electrode diffusion layer; and the third step of hot-pressing the electrolytic membrane and the electrode diffusion layer, wherein in the second step, the viscosity of the active layer is controlled from 100 to 10,000 cPs.
