摘要 |
PURPOSE: A FIFO(First Input First Output) storage device to reduce consumption power and synchronized with a clock signal is provided to eliminate a delay, reduce the consumption power, and synchronize an operation for storing/outputting data with a rising edge of the clock signal by storing/outputting the data after enabling only the selected depth with use of a register file. CONSTITUTION: A register file block(10) stores the actual data by including the depth of multiple predetermined capacities. A control block(20) generates a write and a read control signal for controlling the register file block by receiving a write or read enabling signal applied from the outside. A FIFO depth count block(30) counts a currently remained storing space in the register file block and a performed write/read number. The depths of the register file block are respectively controlled by the write/read control signal output from the control block.
