PURPOSE: A device for generating a different pseudo random number according to a size of an inputted key is provided to reduce a hardware area to a quarter by sharing a circuit without implementing each circuit for each size, as the pseudo random number is generated by receiving the variable keys of 64, 128, 152, and 256 bits. CONSTITUTION: A key manager(210) stores/processes the key inputted from the outside. An S-box manager(230) stores/processes an S-box used by the RC4. An S-box access address generator(240) generates an address to read/write data to the S-box. A pseudo random number generator(250) stores the data read from the S-box and generates a pseudo random number address. A controller(220) generates a signal for controlling the components.
