Plastic pipe with branch bores for spray nozzles, used for irrigation systems, has thicker wall in bore regions

The pipe wall has a thickness in the bore region which is at least 30 % greater than the smallest pipe wall thickness. A pipe (2) comprising a plastic material has a length of at least 3 m and contains at least two spaced apart bores (10) with a minimum diameter of 5 mm for mounting branch parts such as spray nozzles (3). The pipe wall has a thickness in the bore region which is at least 30 % greater than the smallest pipe wall thickness. An independent claim is also included for an irrigation system (1) comprising a water supply, the above pipe as a distribution pipe and water dispensing nozzles mounted in the distribution pipe bores.
