STRUCTURE OF A VENT FOR A CYLINDER HEAD COVER FOR DISCHARGING BLOWBY GAS GENERATED BETWEEN A CYLINDER HEAD AND THE CYLINDER HEAD COVER

PURPOSE: A vent structure of a cylinder head cover is provided to minimize leak of oil, and to discharge blowby gas out of the cylinder head cover by separating blowby gas from oil of the engine in inclining the upper part of the cylinder head cover to the horizontal plane. CONSTITUTION: A vent structure of a cylinder head cover(1) is composed of a baffle(3) installed in the cylinder head cover to pass blowby gas, and a blowby pipe(5) inclined upward to the space formed by the baffle and the cylinder head cover and extended through the cylinder head cover. The baffle is longitudinally installed in the cylinder head cover, and an inlet hole is formed in the baffle to flow blowby gas from the lower part. The inlet hole is spaced from the connection portion of the blowby pipe and the space formed by the baffle and the cylinder head cover. The blowby pipe is bent and formed along the edge of the cylinder head cover from the space formed by the baffle and the cylinder head cover.
