EXTERNAL FORCE-TYPE SLIP JOINT DEVICE FOR PREVENTING LEAKAGE OF A FEED FLUID BY EFFECTIVELY SHUTTING OFF A GAP BETWEEN AN OUTER PIPE AND A SLIP PIPE

PURPOSE: An external force-type slip joint device is provided to secure simplified structure and to effectively prevent a feed fluid from leaking out of a gap between an outer pipe and a slip pipe. CONSTITUTION: An external force-type slip joint device includes an outer pipe(10) having one end connected to a pipe line to constitute a passage of a feed fluid; a slip pipe(20) sliding if deformation in a pipe line axis direction of the pipe in the outer pipe occurs; and an elastic sealing member(30) for coming in contact with and shutting off a gap between the outer pipe and the slip pipe by an actuating fluid. A pipe line is connected to one end of the slip pipe and the other end of the slip pipe is inserted in the other end of the outer pipe partially slidably along the pipe axis direction. The elastic sealing member constitutes an expanding space expanding to hinder the feed fluid from leaking out of a gap between the outer pipe and the slip pipe.
