PURPOSE: A device for measuring temperature by using a portable terminal is provided to add a non-contact infrared temperature sensor, thereby measuring temperature for various purposes while storing the measured temperature to statistically manage the stored temperature. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(12) receives a user selection. A display(11) supplies a displayed result. An infrared sensor(14) is driven by an external control signal, and measures an infrared wavelength of a target object. A controller(15) supplies a driving control signal to the infrared sensor(14) according to the user selection of the keypad(12) so as to operate the infrared sensor(14), operates temperature of the target object by receiving the measured wavelength from the infrared sensor(14), and displays operated results on the display(11).
