PURPOSE: Provided is a topical composition for beauty care which contains resveratrol from Paeoniae radix as an active ingredient. The resveratrol has anti-oxidation effect, skin whitening effect and anti-skin aging effect. CONSTITUTION: The topical composition for beauty care is characterized by containing resveratrol(3,4'-trihydroxystilbebe) represented by the formula(1) as an active ingredient. The resveratrol is extracted from Paeoniae radix. The composition is formulated into tonic water, creams, lotions, facial mask packs, gels, essences.
