摘要 PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to improve the quality of image through the feedback of the common voltage removing the deviation of distortion components differently represented in response to the position of the panel. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a gate driver(200), a source driver(300), a common voltage generating unit(400) and a feedback controller(500). The gate driver applies the gate signal to turn on/off the thin film transistor to the gate line. The source driver applies the data signal to the data line. The common voltage generating unit applies the common voltage to at least two contact points formed on the common electrode. And, the feedback controller controls the potential difference between the pixel electrode and the common electrode by receiving the feedback signal from at least two contact points.
