PURPOSE: A system for automatically guiding the regional information of navigation and a method for guiding the same are provided to supply the useful information for the specific region when the vehicle passengers pass through the specific region. CONSTITUTION: A system for automatically guiding the regional information of navigation includes a character memory unit(10), a voice converting unit(20) and a voice output selection unit(30). The character memory unit is install on the inside of the system to store various additional information in the form of character for each region. The voice converting unit outputs the converted voice through the vehicle speaker after the corresponding additional information of the displayed specific region is converted into the voice when the geometrical information of the specific region is displayed through the display unit based on the GPS information received by the GPS reception unit. And, the voice output selection unit controls the system in such a way that the output of the additional information for the specific region is selectively outputted through the speaker.
