METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING SEWAGE AND WASTEWATER EFFECTIVELY AND EASILY IN SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR PROCESS BY INSTALLING BIOREACTOR, DENITRIFICATION TANK, DEPHOSPHORIZATION TANK AND SEDIMENTATION TANK ON SINGLE REACTOR

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating sewage and wastewater, wherein removal efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus is increased in a sequencing batch reactor process by a single reactor, and a vertical axis type reactor having high stability during discharge process since a ratio of height to width(or diameter) of a sequencing batch reactor used when treating sewage and wastewater is not less than 1. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for treating sewage and wastewater comprises a pretreatment tank(1) for gravitationally flowing sewage and wastewater into the flow equalizer that is a next process after removing miscellaneous materials contained in sewage and wastewater after receiving sewage and wastewater to be treated; a raw water transfer pipe(2) for overflowing sewage and wastewater from the pretreatment tank to the flow equalizer; a flow equalizer(4) for equalizing quality of sewage and wastewater and controlling time variation of inflow rate before sending sewage and wastewater to the sequencing batch reactor that is a next process after receiving sewage and wastewater from the raw water transfer pipe; a raw water transfer pump(5) for transferring sewage and wastewater from the flow equalizer to a proper water level of the sequencing batch reactor; a sequencing batch reactor(7) for properly treating raw water through the integrated aeration/agitation/discharge combination unit by receiving raw water of sewage and wastewater from the flow equalizer; an integrated aeration/agitation/discharge combination unit(11) installed in the sequencing batch reactor to induce advanced biological treatment of sewage and wastewater; an excess sludge pump(9) for transferring excess sludge in the lowermost of the sequencing batch reactor in sludge settled on a lower part of the sequencing batch reactor to the sludge retention tank; and a sludge retention tank(3) for storing the excess sludge by receiving excess sludge from the excess sludge pump.
