PURPOSE: A correction data change method of a washing machine is provided to improve accuracy of a conductivity calculating unit by executing a test mode by a user in applying power and checking and changing simply wrong correction data. CONSTITUTION: A correction data change method of a washing machine is composed of steps for detecting potential difference of the water by an electrode sensor; computing the conductivity of the water from the sensed potential difference by a conductivity calculating unit; setting an optimal washing algorism by judging the quality of the water from the conductivity; executing a test mode for checking and changing a washing condition by a user in applying power(S2,S3); displaying the number of changing times of correction data for correcting the detection deviation of the conductivity calculating unit on a display unit of the washing machine when the test mode is executed(S4); replacing the number of changing times of the displayed correction data with the display of present correction data(S5,S6); changing the checked correction data into other optimized correction data(S7); and turning off power in finishing changing the correction data(S8).
