PURPOSE: A composite light-compensating C plate including at least two C plates having different dispersion ratio values and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) using the composite light-compensating C plate are provided to improve contrast at the front side of the LCD and at a tilted angle and minimize a color variation in response to a viewing angle in a black state. CONSTITUTION: A composite light-compensating C plate is composed of m positive C plates and n negative C plates. At least two C plates have different dispersion ratio values. When the positive C plates and the negative C plates are laminated, the total phase difference value of the laminated film corresponds to the sum of the sum of phase difference values of the positive C plates and the sum of phase difference values of the negative C plates.
