摘要 PURPOSE: A boot structure fitting for a machine joint is provided to firmly fit an annular lip to an axial component by elastically deforming an annular lip and to protect the inside of the axial components from inappropriate environment containing external dust. CONSTITUTION: A boot structure fitting for a machine joint is composed of a flexible boot(13) having cylindrical openings at both ends, wherein at least one of ends is firmly fitted to an axial component of the machine joint; a clamping means for fixing the boot to the axial component from the outside of the boot; a pair of grooves(21) formed on the inside of the boot; an annular lip(22) arranged between the grooves; and an annular projection portion(23) disposed between the boot and the clamping means. The upper end of the annular lip is not protruded from the inside to a center line of the boot. The annular lip is elastically deformed and fitted firmly to the outside of the axial component by applying intensively fixing force from the clamping means through the annular projection to the annular lip.
