PURPOSE: A method for managing a schedule by using an avatar in a mobile communication terminal is provided to inform a user of a designated schedule by using an avatar which visually and auditorily implies the designated schedule, thereby removing any rejection toward hard and simple words while easily recognizing the intended schedule. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal inputs predetermined data for schedule managing by executing a schedule management mode(S10). The terminal edits an avatar according to the inputted data to store the edited avatar, and selects a schedule notify method using the stored avatar(S11,S12). The terminal confirms whether an inputted date and a time come, and if so, the terminal loads the stored avatar to inform a user of a designated schedule according to the schedule notify method(S13,S14).
