PURPOSE: A phase mixer for automatically controlling a slew rate of input signals according to a frequency variation and a PVT(Process, Voltage, Temperature) variation, and a control method thereof are provided to reduce a shouldering effect of an output signal of the phase mixer even if a frequency of an input clock or the PVT is changed. CONSTITUTION: The mixer(31) receives/interpolates two signals having a different phase through input ports. A frequency detector(33) detects the frequency variation of the input signal. An integrator(35) converts the output signal of the frequency detector into a predetermined DC value. Two variable capacitors(37) are connected to the input ports of the mixer and vary each capacitor value by responding to the DC value.
