GUIDE ROD OF A DISC BRAKE FOR MINIMIZING FRICTION NOISE GENERATED FROM THE DISC BRAKE IN BRAKING BY A BUFFER MEMBER

PURPOSE: A guide rod of a disc brake is provided to execute effective braking by inducing smooth sliding of a housing through a guide rod of the disc brake and to minimally reduce friction noise by cutting off a body unit from being frictionized directly with an inner peripheral surface of a combining groove with a buffer member. CONSTITUTION: A guide rod(40) of a disc brake for slidably combining a housing(10) having a piston to a carrier(20) installed with a pad plate is composed of a fixing unit(41) joined to combining holes(15) bored through both ends of the housing; a body unit(42) inserted reciprocatingly into a combining groove(23) arranged at both sides of the carrier and filled with the lubricant; a buffer member(50) mounted to cover the outer peripheral surface of the body unit and to reduce a gap between the combining groove and the body unit; and a recessed groove(43) dug in the body unit at the predetermined depth to fill or discharge the lubricant charged in the combining groove according to a reciprocating motion.
