METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MORPHING INSTRUCTION CODE ON ASIP

PURPOSE: A method and a device for morphing an instruction code on an ASIP(Application Specific Instruction Processor) are provided to enhance a processing speed and make an instruction flexible by processing a code morphing process in real-time with an additional circuit on the ASIP. CONSTITUTION: A decoding unit(310) decodes the received instruction and is equipped with dual port SRAMs(330,340). A code morphing unit(320) performs morphing of the decoded instruction into other instruction format. A control signal generator generates a control signal that the instruction is decoded, and is includes an adder calculating a sum by reading data from an external memory and a shifter shifting a calculation result of the calculator.
