PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a zoom function camera is provided to control a magnification of a photographed image, and to drive an external body in optical axial direction, thereby increasing user convenience by comprising an optical zoom function. CONSTITUTION: A terminal body comprises a camera receiving portion(29) so that a light can be incident on one side. A camera module(31) is disposed in optical axial direction incident to photograph an image inside the camera receiving portion(29). An external body(41) moves in optical axial direction by being installed inside the camera receiving portion(29) to locate magnification control lenses(47,57) at the front of the camera module(31) by comprising at least the one of the magnification control lenses(47,57), and controls a magnification of the photographed image. An external body driver(61) drives the external body(41) in optical axial direction.
