PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AMINO COMPOSITION BY ADDITION REACTION OF POLYAMINE WITH ALKENYL GROUP-CONTAINING COMPOUND

PURPOSE: A process for producing an amino composition which is useful as curing agents for epoxy resins or as chain extenders for polyurethane resins, and has stable properties. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing an amino composition is carried out by an addition reaction of a polyamine with an alkenyl group-containing compound under the presence of a strongly basic catalyst, and specifically the process comprises the steps of conducting a preliminary reaction of the polyamine with the strongly basic catalyst to obtain a reaction mixture, and adding the alkenyl group-containing compound to the obtained reaction mixture to conduct an addition reaction. The alkenyl group-containing compound is added to the reaction mixture comprising a reaction intermediate of the catalyst and the polyamine after the concentration of the reaction intermediate in the reaction mixture becomes 0.001 mol or more based upon 1 mol of the polyamine.
