PURPOSE: A projector is provided to prevent over-cooling of parts by dividing cooling air sent to a place having a lower temperature and cooling air sent to a place having a higher temperature. CONSTITUTION: A projector for projecting an image includes a lamp(10), an optical system, a cooling fan(50) and an induction duct(60). The lamp(10) supplies light. The optical system includes a light synthesizing part having a blue panel, a green panel, and a red panel and an optical element arranged on an optical path. The cooling fan generates cooling air for cooling the optical system. The induction duct induces an induction duct through a first path and a second path. The projector includes a lamp driving circuit having a power circuit and a safe unit. Cooling air passing through the first path of the induction duct is induced into the blue panel. Cooling air passing through the second path of the induction duct is induced into the red panel.
