摘要

PURPOSE: A multi functional microstrip spiral antenna for multiple-band operation having plural irradiation patterns is provided to improve transmission/reception efficiency by adjusting orientation of the antenna at radically varying communication environment. CONSTITUTION: A multi functional microstrip spiral antenna for multiple-band operation having plural irradiation patterns includes a substrate, an electromagnetic wave absorber(40), and a foam(50). The substrate includes a circular slot(20) having a predetermined radius, a power line for supplying power, phase shifters(60) on the power line, and a spiral antennas(30) coupled with each of the phase shifters. The electromagnetic wave absorber is implemented on a lower portion of the substrate to block a beam irradiated backwards. The foam is inserted between substrate and the electromagnetic wave absorber to prevent contact the loss of the power line.
