PURPOSE: An elevating type parking system is provided to install in a narrow alley or a slant alley without giving an influence on the traffic and to elevate safely by elevating at the unmanned state automatically. CONSTITUTION: The elevating type parking system contains: a frame(1) composed of both columns(10) having guide grooves, an upper plate(12) provided with pulleys(16), and a lower plate(14), wherein upper and lower ends of both columns(10) are connected by the upper plate and the lower plate; an elevating unit(2) containing an operating plate(22) installed to be reciprocated in the frame, elevating plates(32) installed on the front of the operating plate and provided with a guide groove, a guide roller and a support roller, and an elevating bar installed to be slid along the elevating plates(32) and having a fork(30) projected forward; and a driving unit containing a motor(50) fixed to an upper plate of a post, a pulley(20) connected to the motor by a chain(54), and a traction rope whose one end is rolled on the pulley and the other end is connected to the operating unit.
