PURPOSE: A joint structure of a building structure and a steel-frame extension unit is provided to correspond to the subsidence by self-weight of a steel-frame extension unit and the horizontal strength such as an earthquake, etc. effectively without damaging a structure. CONSTITUTION: The joint structure of a building structure and a steel-frame extension unit for joining a steel-frame extension unit to a building structure to widen a plane space of the existing building structure comprises the steps of fixing a gusset plate(12) on the upper part of a floor slab(11) for the building structure using a fastener which passes through the slab, joining an upper flange of a steel beam horizontally along the slab on the gusset plate, and installing a deck plate on a lower flange of the steel girder to place concrete(19) for the bottom of the steel-frame extension unit.
