PURPOSE: A multi-functional terminal for scientific and systematic running using a GPS(Global Positioning System) is provided to measure speed/distance of a user by checking current position of the user, measure/offer consumed calories according to weight/distance/speed, and generate an alarm sound when the speed or a pulse frequency is over a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION: A display(380) displays data by installing to a specified position of a main body. A key input part(320) sets a mode and generates a key signal for ordering a specified operation. A communication interface(395) exchanges the data with an external device. A control module(350) transmits a control signal for controlling each component in order to perform the corresponding mode/operation according to the key signal applied from the key input means, receive/process GPS information applied through a GPS module(340), and performs the specified mode. A pulse measurer(330) measures the pulse frequency through a pulse detection sensor. |
