ORGANIC EL ELEMENT WITH METAL HAVING LARGE WORK FUNCTION FOR IMPROVING REFLECTION RATIO AT ANODE

PURPOSE: An organic EL(Electro-Luminescence) element is provided to improve reflection ratio at an anode by composing the anode using a reflective layer and a hole injection film and to improve efficiency by using a metal having large work function. CONSTITUTION: An organic EL element of top emission type includes an organic layer between an anode and a cathode. The anode of the organic EL element includes a reflective layer(9) and a hole injection film(10). The reflective layer reflects light emitted at the organic layer. Holes are injected on the hole injection film. The reflective layer is composed by using Al or an alloy made by adding Nd, Ta, Nb, Mo, W, Ti, Si, B, and Ni to Al at a ratio lower than 5 atoms%.
