PURPOSE: A clock enable buffer to enter self refresh mode is provided to reduce the current consumption by using an improved differential buffer. CONSTITUTION: A clock enable buffer to enter self refresh mode, comprises a current mirror load consisting of the first PMOS transistor(P7) and the second PMOS transistor(P8) between power supply voltage(VCC) and the first and the second node; the third NMOS transistor(N9) connected between the first node and the third node, for being turned on by a reference voltage(Vref); the fourth NMOS transistor(N10) connected between the second node and the third node, for controlling the current mirror load in response to a clock enable signal; the fifth NMOS transistor(N11) connected between the third node and the ground(gnd), for being turned on by a self refresh signal; a sixth NMOS transistor(N12) for making the first node voltage level into a low state through being turned on by a toggled refresh signal.
