FIELD: construction engineering; repair of underground pipe lines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes digging of two pits, cutting of pipe in these pits and withdrawal of worn pipe from ground. New pipe is preliminarily placed inside worn pipe and hermetic chamber is formed; worn pipe is withdrawn from ground after placing new pipe in worn pipe by building-up pressure of air (gas) in hermetic chamber formed by inner surface of new pipe, plug at its rear end resting against stop, inner surface of flange connected with worn pipe, plug at end of flange and piston secured at front end of new pipe located inside flange. ^ EFFECT: reduced scope of earth-moving work. ^ 2 dwg |
