FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with either surgical or medicinal decrease of intraocular pressure (IOP). In case of primary open-angle glaucoma on should detect the values of systolic and diastolic arterial pressure, calculate average dynamic arterial pressure and detect the value of tolerant IOP as Tol.IOP = 6 + 0.1 AvAP, where AvAP = DiastAP + 0.42(SystAP - DiastAP), where Diast AP - the value of diastolic arterial pressure, Syst AP that of systolic arterial pressure, Av AP - average dynamic arterial pressure.
