FIELD: railway transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of frame of hopper car body which is used for carrying alumina and processed materials. Proposed hopper car 1 has three-section body 2 installed on roll-under bogies 3. body has through apertures 5 of chamber 4 for storing carried materials of alumina processing, hermetically sealed compartment 7 for carrying alumina with upper hatches 1- and lower hatches for charging and discharging, and reduced weight frame. Chambers for storing carried materials are equipment with floorings, movable load-bearing frames 12 and pressing devices 13. End center sill parts frame 8 and bolsters are rigidly interconnected by load-bearing sidemembers 19 whose lower belts are aligned with planes of arrangement of discharge hatches of hermetically sealed compartment. Lower belts of sidemembers lie within limits of outlines of bolsters supported by V-shaped struts. Cantilever parts of center sills are equal in width to paired sidemembers enclosing ports of discharge hatches of hermetically sealed compartment. ^ EFFECT: reduced weight of car at preservation of its load carrying capacity. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
