PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrolyte for driving for improving a withstand voltage while suppressing the increase of a rate resistance. SOLUTION: Organic carboxylic acid such as azelaic acid and benzoic acid or its salt and boric acid or its ammonium salt and 1.0 to 20.0 wt.% maleic anhydride-styrene copolymer(average molecular weight 400 to 9,000) or 1.0 to 20.0 wt.% maleic anhydride-α-olefin copolymer(α-olefin carbon number: 3 to 8, average molecular weight: 400 to 9,000) is dissolved in solvent with ethylene glycol as main components.
