DEVICE FOR INSPECTING X-RAY CONTENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an X-ray content inspecting apparatus for preventing degradation of inspection accuracy and expanding the inspection area. SOLUTION: An X-ray detector 4 has an X-ray sensor for receiving X rays. The X-ray sensor is disposed so as to receive the X-rays spreading and passing through a vessel 1 and expand a detection area larger than the inspection region of the vessel 1. A controller 8 is provided with an expansion correcting circuit for correcting distortions of a content detected by controller 8 accompanying the expansion of the detection region to the inspection area. The expansion correcting circuit divides the whole inspection region into a plurality of divided regions, and finds correction data corresponding to the divided regions by dividing the total quantity of X rays passing through each divided region by expansion rate of the detection region to the inspection region.
