摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of quantifying the content of Hg or Cd and/or Pb, especially Hg, as minute impurities contained in fluorocarbon resin, such as PTFE and PFA with high precision. SOLUTION: The method of quantifying heavy metals in fluorocarbon resin quantifies Hg, or Hg, Cd and/or Pb out of heavy metals as trace impurities contained in fluorocarbon resin such as PTFE and PFA, wherein a fluorocarbon resin sample to be quantified is subjected to pretreatment by the oxygen flask combustion method using a 0.1 to 80% nitric acid containing liquid.
