摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by lessening stress action to the peripheral wall of a case half body and the successive curved section of a crank journal support wall while minimizing enlargement and increase of weight of an engine, in the engine in which a crank case comprises the case half body integrally formed in a cylinder block and the other case half body fastened to the case half body, and the crank journal support walls integrally successively arranged on the peripheral walls of both the case half bodies are fastened to each other by bolts arranged on both sides of a crankshaft. SOLUTION: At least a part of second bolts 31, 31' of two or more second bolts 31, 31' fastening both the case half bodies 14L, 14R to each other are arranged to the outside of cylinder bores 16L, 16R in a position corresponding to the crank journal support walls 23L, 23R.
