PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal rotary classifier which is easily fabricated and assembled, is low in manufacturing cost and can stably be operated over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This classifier is provided with: lower receiving trays 3A of roller plates 3 on each apex of a triangle of an upper part of a base 1; a sieve frame 4 opened at the top mounted in inclined state on a movable plate 2 provided at an upper part of the trays 3A; screens 5A, 5B attached in inclined state inside the frame 4 with spaces; upper receiving trays 3B of the roller plates 3 on the movable plate 2; and metallic balls 9 intervened between the lower and upper trays, thereby supporting the movable plate 2 with the frame 4 attached thereto by three points of the three roller plates 3. Further, in this device, a crankshaft 13 connected to a motor 16 mounted on the base 1 and rotating is mounted in the longitudinal direction on the central side of the base, its upper part is journaled on a bearing 15 mounted on the movable plate 2, thereby rotating the sieve frame 4 horizontally in a tilted state by the rotation of the crankshaft 13, .
