The invention relates to a multi-trolley container crane, comprising at least two superimposed trolley tracks (6, 7), on which trolleys (8) with running wheels, drive devices and lifting gears run. The trollies (8) on the tracks (6, 7) comprise laterally extending and retracting running wheels (20) and an integrated raising system (21, 22, 24 25, 26), by means of which said trollies support themselves on or near to the tracks (6, 7) and hence can transfer from the lower to the upper track (6, 7) and vice versa. The invention is suitable for the rapid loading and unloading of container ships where several containers must be loaded or unloaded simultaneously. |
